  1. Snowmen!!!

get strophone balls(3 for each kid make sure you have 3 differnt sizes)

orange and black pipecleansers(1 orange 2 black for each)

    black paint! (for eyes)

and something to hold everything together

  2. Teach 'em how to shoot at cows...

  3. Well, I enjoy stuffing their stockings with my Christmas sausage. I make them memorize and sing Christmas carols while I do it, it is very educational. I think they learned a lot.

  4. Gift trading(bring item from home,giftwrapped,and trade)

    Making christmas trees

Ornaments out of paper and the childs picture on it, and  puzzle pieces around it

    Make cookies

  5. We've done many over the years.  Basic stuff you may need to buy: pom poms, pipe cleaners, and foam sheets.  All available at Dollar Tree!

Bells -- Using laundry soap lids, drill a small hole in the top to fit a pipe cleaner through.  Put jingles bells inside the lid connected to the pipe cleaner and a loop on the top to make a tree ornament or just a fun bell to play with.  Decorate with paints, stickers, gliter glue, etc.

Wooden Reindeer -- Use empty wooden thread spools.  Put pipe cleaners in one end for antlers.  Glue a pom pom on the other end (bottom) for a nose.  Draw a face on the side of the spool.  I usually glue a button to the spool then glue the pom pom to it - it stays better.  You can glue a string or ribbon in the antler side to make it an ornament also.

Foam Reindeer -- Trace a childs hand with the thumb sticking out to the side onto a brown sheet of foam.  Cut out hand.  Color tips of fingers as hooves, put a red pom pom on the tip of the thumb.  Draw an eye or attach a googly eye.  Attach small piesces of pipe cleaners to form antlers.  Add a tail if desired.  Attach as an ornament with the antlers or add a hole with a paper hole punch and attach a ribbon or ornament hook.

  6. Oriental trading has a lot of stuff you can order that would be what you are describing.

  7. I had the children in my class decorate wooden gift bags from a craft store.  Then I bought angel kits for them to make an angel ornament to put inside. The angels were very creative, because I do not believe in correcting them when it comes to something that is supposed to be creative.  They were very cute!  I made cookies (to save time, could have had them help), and then brought all the stuff in for them to decorate.  I also had them help me put up a Christmas tree for the classroom and we decorated it with ornaments that we made.

  8. coloring!!

  9. The could make trees then color them green which teaches them the color of a tree and add stuff on the tree like decorations which also helps them learn colors. Or make a chart shoing how namy days til x-mas that helps with their numbers. Or drawing snowman which helps with shapes. This is want my son is learning on pre-k.
