  1. Possibly a self-portrait of how they believe they would look, if they were a president?

Clothing, hair, facial hair(if they imagine being old enough to be a president), and the office or desk they would sit at.

...imagination? Not enough of it, these days.

  2. have the students to make a collage of all the presidents of united states, choose a president and make a book, or produce a play based on the presidents

  3. how about sculting somethin out of clay dont be afraid to get done and dirty!

  4. let them draw the president or write about the president.

  5. 1.) A simple-to-make Lincoln Log Cabin

Construction paper (white and at least one other color)

White glue or a glue stick

    Scissors

    Craft sticks (popsicle sticks)

    Crayons

    A shiny penny

Glue craft sticks to the paper to make the wall of the cabin *I think 8 laying horizonal*.

Cut a triangular roof for the cabin and glue it to the paper. Cut a rectangular door and square window; the window should be bigger than a penny. Glue the door and window to the cabin. Glue a penny, Lincoln side up, to the window.

Draw a door k**b and a background. You may want to add a chimney, trees, and other details that the children think of. Label the picture, Abraham Lincoln's Log Cabin.

    2.) Make a beautiful tree.

In this project, each of the Presidents of the US is represented by a leaf on a tree.

  6. Mabey you should do paper abraham lincon hats

  7. For something really easy using a large piece of construction paper  8 by 14 cut into 3 inch strips along the 14, so you will have 3 by 14 strips. Using one and a half of these to make a head band. Cut out stars about 4 inches tall. You can make the head band white and the stars red and blue, so it looks like the USA colors. Or make the band blue and the stars white and red or any other red/white/blue combination. Glue several stars along the headband.

  8. make the students draw a flag, or make them draw george washington

  9. Both celebrated presidents were known for their honesty and at the preschool level, that is a good one to focus on. You might put together a make-it book  such as...the cherry tree was chooped down...George said, "I did it"...etc.

  10. Make a log cabin out of pretzel rods or the smaller pretzel sticks.

  11. Have the children construct their own president or a model of Washington or Lincoln. They can also design their own flag,or say a speech like the real presidents did.
