Question:

Any ideas for fun not extremely expensive places to eat in Vegas?

My boyfriend and I are going to Vegas this weekend. I actually grew up there but moved when I was 16, so a little too early to experience all the eating (and drinking!) options Vegas has to offer. We're staying at the Stratosphere but will probably spend most of our nights more towards the central area of the strip so restaurants all along the strip (or even a little off the strip) are fine. The last couple times I've gone I've eaten at the Red Square at Mandalay Bay and I LOVE it but it would be a little out of our price range this trip, though I probably will stop in to get a blue cheese-stuffed olive martini! Yummy! Does anyone have any suggestions for some good dinner places, preferably with a cool vibe and good drinks like the Red Square has but not quite as expensive? I'm also taking suggestions for good bars and clubs, so feel free to offer those too!

  1. I love the Piccadilly Circus Pizza joint that they have on Freemont Street (Downtown). It is sooooooo good and so cheap. It's a little hole in the wall, directly across from Fitzgerald's. I love going there at night after a few drinks and I get to watch the light show. :) You should check it out.

  2. You can check out "The Diablo", its right next to the MGM Grand, its a bar with a very cool setting and not so expensive menu.

Also, there's La Salsa Cantina, really good food, they also have dancing and live music playing, been there many times, its cheap and definitely worth it, also close to MGM.

Lastly, u can go to old Vegas, "Fremont Street" drinks can be as cheap as a buck, but ofcourse can get more expensive, u can watch their hourly shows, they have a reallly good bar/ club at the end of it, which is pretty cool, food is ok, there's many restaurants and stuff that you can eat... its a cheap and fun vegas trip.

good luck and have fun :)

  3. Pink Taco in the HardRock..Dos Caminos i believe its in the Venetian..there are a couple of good restaurants in teh new Planet Hollywood hotel that are good and not too pricey.

As for clubs, if you are looking for a good mix of hiphop, house and rock..Prive at the planet hollywood, LAX, Tao, Moon at the Palms and Pure at Cesars are the best in my opinion. Tryst at the Wynn is also good and very pretty.
