Okay, I am in Highschool. And I am the Junior VP for my class. We're major about the prom, but I need some great ideas for fundraising that I would know teenagers my age and people in the community would participate in for fundraising. We need about $1,500 at LEAST for the prom, and we're starting at $250. So we've got a long ways to go.

I need ideas, and everyone's input would be appreciated.

The most awesome ideas will get the the best answer btw.

Thanks. :)

  1. My daughters class did an event called, "best seat in the house". They set a couch on the corner of the ball court.  They set up a booth selling raffle tickets to win "seats" on the couch to watch the game. The winner got to take a few friends to sit with on the couch.  They served the winner a pizza and soda.  The money for that was donated by parents. They did the drawing so there were two winners.  One at the beginning of the game and one at half time.  When they announced the winner they would also announce the name of the parents that donated the pizza and soda.  The pizza's were delivered by a local pizza place.  She thinks they sold the tickets for $2.00 and said it raised a LOT of money!...Also, she said that parents would come up after each game asking to donate to buy the pizza and soda because they enjoyed it as much as the students did!

They had other events as well.  Battle of the bands, brat sales, car washes, etc...but the best seat in the house and the battle of the bands were the two biggest money raisers.
