Question:

Any ideas for great non-alcoholic beverages?

I just quit drinking...and was wondering...anyone have good ideas for non-alcoholic beverages. Sometimes cold beers are nice and refreshing so I would like something equally refreshing. I want something that will taste good, not too sweet (although some sweet ones are good too) that I can drink while others have alcohol. If you could include the name (if you don't know the recipe) or a website, or recipe I would be sooooo grateful! Thanks for your help in advance!

  1. make a frozen pina colada, but substitute pineapple juice for the rum. It is delicious.

*Use Daily's Pina Colada Mix, it is perfect*

  2. You must try a drink called J20 its really really refreshing and it has lots of flavours like Apple and Mango, Orange and Passion fruit and many many more. This drink doesnt have alcohol.

  3. Mimosas ,made with cider with orange juice and eggnog with one cup cream one cup sliced banns and put in blender.

  4. I love iced tea with lemon, and club soda with lime for those non-drinking times.  Or an Arnie Palmer.  It's half iced tea, half lemonade.  Oh, and cranberry juice and club soda with a wedge of lime.  And congratulations on quitting, stay strong!

  5. Sometimes when I want something special and refreshing but no alcohol (I have kids and booze makes me tired) I have this new soda I found, called 'Dry'. It has a lavendar flavor that is light and subtle and very refreshing. It's also made from cane sugar instead of corn syrup, and isn't as sweet as regular soda, only lightly sweet. I just love it. I have to go to special food stores to find it, but it's a great substitute. It comes in clear glass bottles.

My other favorite party drink is sorbet and ginger ale as a substitute for champagne. Besides that, I think you've already got going a great list of mocktails.
