Any ideas for my Mom's 41st birthday?

My Mother's birthday is on August 26th 2008. She does not like parties so I want something small, affordable , and Homemade. Thank you in advance to all the people answering my question so patiently.

just sit down and eat together, have cake and sing happy b-day, give her her presents, and then sit down and chat and watch a movie or the olympics or something

your mother would most likely appreciate it if you cleaned all the things she hates doing most. then maybe you could give her 4 saturdays of the same ,plus your company on each of these days talking ,watching movies, or even cooking dinner together. your mom would love the gift of time from you more than any store bought stuff.
