  1. Why not on your shoulder or upper arm?

  2. Let him know they also make cosmetics strong enough to cover tattoos (Dermablend for instance).  It's probably unlikely that you'll convince him though.

  3. My son is 17, turning 18, and he just came home with a teardrop under his left eye. I am extremely disappointed that he did that to his face. He also got one on his neck, just below his ear. I think they look horrible. Now don't get me wrong, I have 3 large tattoos and 1 sort of small one, I love tattoos. But do not get them where you can't conceal them. You know, if you are looking for symbolism, I think that is great, but try down the middle of your spine or down the side of your calf. It doesn't look as tacky either. I would suggest getting it in all black, with maybe your mom's name in yours/ or her favorite color.I hope I helped. I'm sorry if it wasn't what ya wanted to hear. Have a good one. ;p Sonya ;p

  4. "Dad, I'm mature enough to realize the effects of a tattoo. I know that it's permanent and I understand where your coming from but it would really mean a lot to me if i had your support on this because your opinion means a lot to me"

    say that and your golden

    good luck :]
