Any ideas for starting a high school club?

i'm going into grade 10 next year, and my friends and i wanted to start a club. it looks really good on resumes and it would be really fun.

unfortunately, our school has been around for a really long time so we have almost every club imaginable. we have all the basics like math, chess, debating, running, french, arts, dance, etc

is there anything not quite as ordinary which people would be interested in joining? something that doesn't require a certain skill? (ie. being really good at chess)

  1. colleges will LOVE IT! if you start a community sevice club, find an organization like: make a wish foundation, breast cancer awereness, the jimmy fund

    and raise money and stuff!

examples: car washes, bake sales, garage sales type thing (sell stuff like old toys, clothes ect.)

or start a club to go to a soup kitchen

  2. Key Club..one of the funnest club out there...you can start up this club...gather a group of people who are willing to give up some time doing volunteer work..assign a director for it. and there goes the club..this club is really fun..check out the site..

  3. 1) Find an open teacher to sponsor your club

    2) What kind of club do you want to make? Because honestly, it sounds more like your trying to find friends than actually developing a club

    3) But, some interesting clubs my schools has are "Peeps (Popcorn eating encourages prepared students, its a studying club), STAND: Take a stand against genoide in Sudan, The Random Acts of Kindness Club, Mad (which basically all they do is play DDR), Harry Potter Club, Magic the Gathering (I don't even want to know what they do)

But what about a socalizing club too?  Or a simply, food club.  Where you bring the food, not make it.
