Any ideas for the Awana Puggles program?

I am teaching the Puggles in the Awana program and I like to add more to the class then is in the book. I like to do more crafts or activities, but I like for them to go along with the theme for that week. I know Valentine's is coming up and I was trying to think of something we could do to help others in the church or something to show them even though our class is children of ages 1 and 2 year olds we can do great things. I would love to get any ideas if you have any thanks.

OH yes  remember in grade school we would use a paper doilie and a red heart.  then we would have someone trace our shadow from the wall and use black paper for the cut out.  How nice for parents to have a very young silohutte of their angels ( why not make them with Halos) You could do this activity and have the kids present them to family as well as elderly who may not have family , you could also create one big heart out of all the tracings on a bulletin board see if the  church members can guess each silohutte.
