Any ideas for trout fishing?

my boy-fiend fishes for trout, this time last year he was catching them using spinners, but this year they does'nt seem to be taking them he is only catching small trout on garden worms. have you got any ideas of other ways to catch trout?

have your boy friend use an egg sinker and a number 16 treble hook and use miniature marshmallows for bait(the kind of marshmallows you cook with)

You didn't say where you are but we went fishing this last week-end we had very good luck on green power bait, and worms. We were catching trout that was 16 to 19 in. and weighted in at 1 pound to 1lb. 7 nice size. We live in Co.

Stay with a Rooster Tail...they are fool proof. You may need to change size or color, maybe even change retrieve.
