Any ideas how to find cheap movers?

I have to get from San Francisco to Alabama..any ideas the cheapest way to do it?

I moved from Denver to San Diego.  We put a hitch on my car and rented from U-Haul.  I didn't take a lot of stuff and it did save us money.  Be careful with hiring last minute movers--I did that and didn't do my research and some of my things did not get delivered or were damaged in the move.  Google the company you find and see if they have complaints..that simple task would have saved me a lot of heartache.  Good luck with the move.
