Any ideas how to turn a small room into an awesome playroom?

I'm going to be living with my grandmother for the summer. I am staying in a room that doesn't have a lot of space in it, but I want to be able to make it fun to play in for when my seven year old nephew visits me. I have some video games, kid's movies, puppets, stuffed animals and big foam pirate swords. Any ideas on toys are great in addition, but mainly I am curious about design ideas for a small space. I want it to be lots of fun, because his parents don't like kids and they don't really play with him.

First consider kid's safety. Keep those games that require electricity isolated from the stuff things. Keep those toys reachable too so it doesn't need a ladder or a chair to reach them. Keep the TV/PC monitor facing the door. The door area should be clear. Don't put those stuff near the window.
