There are so so many things to see and do....

I live in this area...

In Weimar---you can see. Schiller House/museum

Friedrich Schiller acquired it in 1801 and used it as dwelling for himself and his family. The visitor can view the entire house today.

The Schiller museum is behind the historical "Schillerhaus". It represents live, work and the effects of Friedrich Schiller. In the ground floor there is the permanent exhibition "Friedrich Schiller on coins and medals" with over 600 exhibits.

Erfurt:

Tour the beautiful 1250 Year Old City of Erfurt -

Visit the historic site where

Dr. Martin Luther took his vows and became a monk, where he was ordained as a priest, and where he lived, first as a young man and then as a monk.

Enjoy the famous paintings that adorn the walls inside Erfurt's Town Hall

Stand before the Palace where the famous meeting between Goethe and Napoleon took place

Spend some time in the Merchants' Church (Kaufmannskirche), where over many years no less than 61 members of the illustrious Bach musical family were baptized.

In Eisenach:
