  1. Cross-stitching! Great fun, cheap, addictive, easy but you can move on to more challenging things as your skills improve!

  2. Q u i l l i n g!

It is perfect for you-cheap, easy fun, creative and you will impress people!

    Trust me and try it!

  3. I taught myself to knit recently.  On the plus side, it's cheap to begin (until you start sniffing out the nicer stuff to feed your addiction) and it's portable.  I can do it on road trips, watching tv, in bed, waiting for appointments, etc.  I'm not a very conventional person, so I like the wackier patterns - dog sweaters, wine cozies, retro leg warmers, etc. Plus, I like the idea of giving something I made for gifts instead of buying stuff.

  4. Knitting and crochetting... Yes I know it sounds a little old fashioned, but it's coming back! I knit on the bus because I spend 2 hours on the bus every day. It's pretty low cost, once you have all the different needles you'll need - which are cheap as, you only need to buy the yarn - which you'll be making stuff out of which you can either keep, give as gifts, sell - whatever you want. My friends love it when I knit them something, because they know I thought about them and made the effort to create something for them, not just buy them something from a shop. :)

  5. You can play the computer, watch tv, borrow books from the library, or do some crafts. All these are really inexpensive, and I do them regularly.

  6. Buy some beads and start making jewelry. Make stretch bracelet for your friends and family. You can even make some money selling them. It is fun to string beads and make something pretty to wear! If you don't like beads, then how about watercoloring?

  7. if u wanna try something chalenging and time consuming w little investment about $30 tops per large project and initial tools try concrete sculpting it sounds like way out there i know but you can make amazing stuff and its all great and usefull.

u can make from jewlery to giant sculptures just check it out on the web, you wont lose anything and its unique and awesome, as well as fun and fairly impresive if u do it right. + u can make stuff for ur garden. .if u want advice/info fell free to send me an e mail.

good luck, hope u give it a try.
