  2. nisma~ snjeidf~~jw

  3. He's probably ready to play cards. We played poker with our kids at about that age, as did one of the other families at the same nursery school. Both the boys are in college, studying math-heavy fields (physics for one, astronomy for the other). Did we give them a leg up? Hope so.

Fractions are tough for some kids. If you start baking or cooking with him and use fractions, letting him measure (on the dishwasher's open door is the easiest clean-up for questionable pouring skills), he'll understand fractions years ahead of his peers. Once he's got them down, go metric.

  4. Make all math fun.from counting the stairs to asking how many knives and forks you need to set the table for dinner! Sing lots of number rhymes.england here so dont know if you have the same songs but my preschoolers love to sing 10 currant buns and five little ducks went swimming one day....as the buns and ducks disappear ask how any are left.early subtraction!!! hope this helps.and both of you have fun!!
