  1. Windex spray cleaner - let it set about a minute or two and then wipe with a paper towel

  2. Vinegar is great for cleaning. Boil a mixture of 50/50 vinegar and water and wipe clean. No scrubbing needed.

  3. I just use plain soap and water.  It is important to clean it whenever the spill occurs.  If you don't and keep on microwaving other food, it becomes caked; therefore much harder to remove.

  4. Put a bowl of water with some lemon in it and bring to the boil, the steam will help soften spatters. For stubborn spots I find an organic type orange based cleaner that you can buy at the supermarket in the cleaning aisle very good.

    Hope this helps

  5. I put a ceramic bowl with at least 2 cups of water and a good squeeze of lemon juice in the microwave and heat on high for 10 mins.

Careful when removing bowl because it does become very hot...

Wipe inside of microwave with a damp cloth...

You can repeat this process a number of times to remove built up food splatters...

I tend to do this once a week :-)

    Hope this helps,

  6. Place a wet/soapy sponge in the microwave for 1 minute on high. When it's done, use a wet towel to clean the oven. The sponge is now clean, and the oven is clean and odour free.

  7. Fill a medium microwave safe bowl with hot water halfway, and add a lemon (sliced thinly) in.

Put the bowl in microwave uncovered and put on high power for 10 minutes; the steam will loosen everything and all you need to do is wipe over with a soft sponge NO ELBOW GREASE REQUIRED!

If it isnt quite loosened just put the bowl in for a further 7 minutes.

  8. try putting a bowl of water in for a few min (till boiling) then the syeam from the water and the heat the mess wipes rite off most of the time depends on how long its been in there

  9. Boil a cup of White Vinegar in the microwave oven until it boils then turn off microwave and keep door closed and allow the vinegar to go cold and stop steeming, when cold open door and wipe with a hot water and cloth or sponge with a little baking soda sprinkled on and scrub, this will not damage your microwave all ingredients safe for microwave cleaning Good Luck !
