Any ideas on great beach style places to stay on the sunshine coast for an affordable honeymoon?

i havent been to the sunshine coast for many years and am just after some experienced peoples thoughts.

  2. Coolum and Noosa are booming so if that is your cup of tea, go for it.

    Your best bet to get an idea on the best deals available and where to go might be to look at wotif.com (concentrate on sunshine coast area).

  3. There are some resorts on the beach just north of Peregian Beach that are pretty good.  Just a foot track through the dunes to the beach.

  4. golden chain maroochydore  is walking distance to the beach and the surf club.  The surf club has a panoramic view of the ocean from your restaurant seat.  the meals are good value.  It is central to everywhere and not expensive compared to some places.  There is a new huge shopping centre nearby with lots to see and do.  Bring a canoe and paddle through the centre of this complex.  Breathtaking.  Good luck and congratulations and may happiness shine on you and yours for the remainder of your lives.

Theres a really nice beach at woodgate beach but that might be a bit far, its near bundaberg, but its basically secluded and only has the locals there, but they are just built houses. but caloundra is so nice, near kings beach i just recently stayed at a holiday unit, it was so nice and close to the beach! And they are affordable. If you call up the girls below and give them a price range they will tell you what they have for that ammount and will help you out!

  6. Noosa, The Whitsundays are all great, but as you said for a more affordable..... how about:
