Any ideas on how I should re-do my room?

A friend and I are going to re-do my room before school starts, any ideas.? Blue's my fav. color + I'm going into ninth grade & imma chick.

do blue and brown on opposing walls, then do little squares of the other color on each wall: blue squares on brown, and brown squares on blue. then decorate with blue,brown,or silver accents.

Like Ashley, I love the blue and brown combo. Blue, Like bluejeans, goes with anything...if the shade is right.

A deep, dark blue shade on the walls will pop with white trim and black accents. Throw in another punchy colour for fun, like fuschia or emerald (whatever is your thing).

But if your parents won't let you go that bold, keep the walls a pale-colour or white and get a new bedspread, curtains, and maybe a throw rug in a vibrant blue.

A little advice, based on my experience, is be very careful about painting sky blue walls...I tried it once, wanting a clean, bright, cheerful blue that looked like the sky on a summer's day. I chose a colour that was WAY too blue and too dark. It looked like a little boy's room.
