We have these beautiful hardwood floors that run through most of the house (which is over 100 years old) In my dining room, my dog has had a few accidents and I am trying to figure out the best way to get my floors clean without ruining them. I have heard about the 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water, I welcome any suggestions. Thanks

  1. Murphy's is great, or any wood cleaner with orange oil will make them shine. I like the Envirosteam cleaner by Eureka (about 20 bucks) on hard wood floors, and it works great with just water and eliminates the mop and bucket.

  2. Murphy's Oil Soap Works wonders to renew and rejuvenate wood

  3. I agree Vinegar and water do work, but make sure not to let water stand or it will ruin the wood... Murphy's Oil soap also works well.
