  1. Many grocery stores now offer catering. Roast chicken, cold cut trays, shrimp platters, veggie platters. With enough warning, they could even do a roast turkey with all the trimmings.

  2. You should supply the main dish and have your guests bring sides, desserts, and drinks. They can sign up for them on a list--some hot and some cold. Then you can either save the money for making a nice big dinner yourself (whatever you have in mind) or you can order out, but you won't need to order so much as your guests will be supplying the rest. It takes some of the pressure off you, as they will all be bringing something individually and will have fun discussing what they brought and how they made it, etc.

Otherwise, think like you're on a budget. Buy ingredients for a salad and a lot of meat. Chicken is cheap. Buy a few of those and prepare it to your liking. Beef is the same way. Vegetables and fruits can be spread, and pasta is probably the cheapest and most filling crowd-pleaser there is. Be creative, set your budget, and stick to it. Good luck with your party!

  3. feed them hotdogs and chips 2 liter cokes with ice and cups

  4. i went to Walmart and brought everything walmart own for about a £5 and i had

    24 rolls

    2 cakes.

    3 packs of jaffa cakes.

    24 bags of crisps.

    Ham

    Cheese

    etc..

    Dead Gd :D

  5. yeah 7 at the most just because its like a party but the cheapest way is to find someone with food stamps lol just kidding

  6. French onion soup always goes down well as a starter and is very cheap to make. Serve with homemade croutons.

Follow this with something like jacket potatoes and a choice of fillings. Potatoes are very cheap and the fillings can be kept simple...tinned tuna, baked beans, cheese and salad veg.

Finish with icecream and fruit in season. Cheap but tasty. You can always add a fruity or chocolate sauce, chopped nuts and a bit of cream and make icecream sundaes.

  7. Pot Luck works and BYOB!

  8. Make a big pot of spaghetti and some kind of tomato sauce.

  9. Panda Express does an awesome party dinner for two dinners it will cost you $50 and you will feed everyone!

  10. Have them all bring the food. You don't have to pay anything!

  11. Do you really need to have a party? if you want it cheap? You will get what you pay for- As for BYOF or BYOL is really a sick way of having a party! either have it or don't

And if you really want a party and want to keep the cost down, then involve a friend and make some simple dishes, go for a ham & Pasta bake,  a nice green salad, some cold cuts( mixed) Or a large dish of shepherds Pie. If you check out some recipee sites on line you will get many ideas just type in' low budget party food'
