Any ideas on how to make a mobile for over the crib?

I have to make a homemade mobile for class tomarrow and i am sopposed to be very creative, i cant use coat hangers and it has to be sturdy, any ideas?

Use the inner ring from a wooden embroidery hoop. Cover it in ribbon. Have dangly items that will be interesting to look at and have it hang from the ceiling from three equal lengths of ribbon or string.
