You should read the web version of the Kargil War Review, instituted by Mr.AB.Vajpayee. Sadly, this review is gathering dust for the last 9 years, and the solutions elaborated not even looked upon.

Ideas in the Government are a plenty, there is a lack of will in Implementation.

Tackling terrorism is a very difficult issue in a big country like India.The intelligence and the police departments must function to their full capacities.

If everyone in India think that it is their own problem and work collectively against it , then removing it from the roots is very much possible.

I feel Narendra Modi is a capable person to deal with these kind of issues.Though the blasts took place in his state,he is the capable one.Iam sure he is not going to keep quiet on these blasts.

Join global powers on all issues.  Become an alliance to superpowers like US UK and Euros and get thier support.

When we behave as peace loving Indians and respect all Indians alike, then only terrorism can vanish from India. If we are h**l bent upon making Hindu- Muslim- Sikh- Christian divide to ensure that the majority vote bank sides with us, we are not doing any good to this country.

Strengthening the present political set up in the hands of UPA (especially by the majority community), could be the right approach.
