Answers could be mathmatical or anything. Please help.

here the 'hundreds' go up by one, the 'tens' go up by two, the 'units' go up by one

I suppose another way of saying it is 'add 121'

127863, 12789, 1278    135

here you add the last two digits.

127863: add six and three, =9 so put 9 instead of 63

12789: add 8 and nine = 17; we only want one figure so add one and seven = eight:  1278

1278: add 7+8 = 15, add 1+5= 6 no that doesn't work, it should be 126 but they have added the 15 instead of six, to give 135:   what does anyone else think?

the number of letters in one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine...
