I have been out of work for a long time now. I have extensive experience in customer service, purchasing, and planning. I have thought about trying to clean offices or running errands and grocery shopping for the elderly who still live at home. Anyone have any experience with these types of businesses and how to get started or any other ideas on ways to make money? I am concerned about starting any kind of business with the economy the way it is and people cutting back so much. One thing I can offer with the grocery shopping is saving them money because I clip coupons all the time and would use them in my shopping. I just don't know how to reach out and advertise for this. I have tried putting ads on craig's list for both services but got nothing. I really feel that if I could just get 1 or 2 clients they would be so happy with me and refer me to others so much I wouldn't need andvertisement. I just need to get there. Any ideas on would be really appreciated. Thanks!
