Any ideas out there??????

Question

My friends and I want to raise money for cancer research, the S.P.C.A., and endangered animals. We need ideas for what we could do to raise money. We already have:

Lemonade stand

Donation stand

Car wash

Our allowances

Neighborly work

Do a sale + get rid of all your toys and clothing you don't need anymore

a bake sale goes well with the lemonade

Since it is for endangered animals and cancer, hold a walk-a-thon that people can do with their pets. They can do "pledges" like if I walk 5 miles, my grandma will donate $2 per mile. Have the walk be around your neighborhood for like 6 miles. Have the people hold balloons when they walk, so cancer is red, S.P.C.A. is green, and animals is yellow. Sell water for like $2.50 to make more money.

start up some sports camps. whatever you guys are good at teach it to little kids i charged 25 dollars per kid and did a cheerleading camp all week i earned 375.

Depending on your age.. It depends what kind of resources you have...

I would try to organize a walk or run that would go all the way through your town. My town does one that goes all the way through the county. You can get people to be in it and either get them to have sponsers or pay an entry fee. Just make sure u present this to the town council or whatever before you do it so that you don't get shut down.

I would try a bake sale instead of lemonade. You would recieve more interest and you would be able to make more of a profit.

You could also design & sell cancer awareness tshirts.. Sell them at something like the 4th of july festival or whatever is held in your town. You could buy a booth or whatever.

You can make a cancer awareness booklet w/ a mailable donation envelope or something and put them around different business... The SPCA may even have one you can distribute. You should look on thier website and see if they have a section w/ ways to help.

You could also do a change drive at your school.Similiar to the march of dimes. You and your friends can make boxes w/ a change slot and distribute them at different business and at school... I'm sure business would be willing to help- just make sure to say that 100% of profits go to the SPCA. And also make sure to put it on the boxes so that people will be more willing to donate.
