Any ideas to better services at the customer services desk?

Our mall is the largest themed mall in the region, any creative ideas would be helpful, - esp as my appraisal is nearing....

  1. I would say that you spread this word...

    to your staff...

    whenever a client asks about something you don't know.

    do not say I do not know...

    do not pretend that you know...

    do not make up a story ...

    say instead...

    Sir/ Madam, I am not quite sure of the answer, however,

    I will FIND OUT for you if you just give me a minute...

    and once you provide the answer say

    "Thank You for that good question...

    it certainly contributed to my growth today."

    this works wonders.

    I always share this with the new staff I train and it's quite useful

    whether you're working at a hotel, hospital, bank or any job that has inter-personal contact.
