well first of all...

I am 5 1/2 months pregnant! And I still don't know what the s*x of my baby is,

but i wanted some ideas to decorate the room for a baby...

I think for a boy it would be much easier, so please, I want some ideas for a room as if it was for a girl... =)

  1. Oooooh !  I saw the coolest idea for a little girl's room. Combine lavendar walls with leopard skin accessories. It looks great together and the lavendar color has got to be one of the most peaceful soothing colors for a baby's room.

  2. http://babybedroomthemes.com

  3. Teddy Bears are always a safe unisex bet.

  4. well...it depends if you want a theme room or not.

i love the idea of a carousel theme room for my little girl (when i have one!). i know it will be a lot of pink and what not, but i still love it. You could do a Precious Moments theme, jungle or barn animals (these can be unisex themes), or just a room with no theme.

boy themes are easy. cars, trains, planes, etc.

a girl room with no theme can be done in lavender, light yellows, pinks, or a white room with colored accents. a boy room can be done in greens, blues, light yellows, or, once again, a white room with colored accents.

EDIT: if you want, you could paint stripes on the walls. for example, you could paint broad yellow stripes on white walls, or if you have light blue walls you could paint a slightly darker blue broad stripe on it.

  5. Light pink walls, teddy bears, ducks, all of those things

  6. Light green/sage is a safe choice.  It's calming, pretty and is a good choice for either s*x.

  7. I agree with the light green sage color for the walls this looks really good with pinks and purples for a girl.

You could look at this site for some really cute handmade items that would look great in a babies room.

  8. Yellow is a safe unisex color. Not a bright yellow pick a dull yellow. Ducks and teddy bears are also unisex objects, maybe even clowns.

    Check out this color chart:
