Hii i'm 17 and my boyfriend is 18 were so bored this summer and we don't want to end up just sat in watching tv all holiday. However we're pretty skint so can't afford to go shopping or anything everyday. Have you any ideas to entertain us without it costing a lot?

Thanks

  1. picnic in the park?

  2. WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A JOB??? At your ages, the last thing both of you need to be doing is sitting around on your butts watching TV all day, or having s*x all day. You are going to be starting college in another year, pal, and you need to be working and putting money aside for that- not to mention money to pay your living expenses once you move out of your parents' house, or they kick you out, which I would expect them to do. Your boyfriend especially needs to get off his lazy duff and get a job, and start making a real contribution- both to his parents, and to you, if you two are planning on staying together and getting married at some point. Your parents are not going to support you forever, pal, nor should they be expected to do so. Sooner or later, you are going to have to live on your own and support yourself- and right now, it sounds like you are woefully unprepared to do either of these things. It also sounds like you are spoiled and lazy.

The world doesn't owe either of you a living, pal- and you are adults, or will be in short order, and it's high time you learned this lesson. Also, because you are adults, finding ways to entertain yourself is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, NOT YOUR PARENTS'. Get off your duff, and get a job- and if you can't find one, then volunteer somewhere and get experience that way. Take some responsibility for yourself. Above all, you need to stop complaining and whining like a little kid, which you are not.

    Enough said.

  3. Free: Beach, bike ride (if you have bikes), go for a walk, arm wrestle, thumb war (you knw, 1..2..3..4 i declare a thumb war), play games on a games website and see who gets the high score, museum, park (go on the swings and feel young again lol), put up a tent outside and just lay chating in the shade (or find a tree if no tent), climb a tree, play football, tennis, frisbee. Well they are free if you already have a ball etc.

Cheap: Swimming pool, picnic, crazy/mini golf, pool (as in the thing that is like snooker), buy a rubber ring or blow up boat or body board to take to the beach.

Not so cheap: Bowling, cinema, buy some cheap remote control cars and race them, do the lottery every week for the summer and pick numbers personal to u both

    Expensive: Evening meal, theme park,

This is all i could think of hope it helps

ok i stole these ideas from another question sorry: concert, festival (those are expensive!) and bake a cake or cook whatever your fav food is

Are you in the UK or USA or elsewhere?

Starlight 1: It doesn't say they don't have a job, maybe its just a weekend job, maybe they have a savings account that they have opted not to use unless its an emergency or until they are older or maybe they already have to pay rent to their parents and so cannot pay for other stuff. You have not really answered the question.

  4. Try having s*x..

  5. Have a summer tournament where you take it in turns to set a challenge and see who wins.  Both put a prize or some money into a kitty and the winner over the whole summer gets the prize! You can make each other do some really funny things!

  6. s*x
