  1. Try taking her to Zoos, and places like that.

Do something educational. Aquariums, stuff like that.

  2. Children love hands-on museums.....these are usually free.

The zoo sometimes has hands-on exhibits....and again children love them.

A morning movie is usually cheap and you can find them for children.

  3. broke up?

  4. Do you live near the ocean or a lake where you could take her swimming? How about bike riding on trails? Let her have a friend over to play or invite the friend to the park.

  5. Take her to the park, let her run around and go on the swings and stuff :] or get a paddling pool :]

  6. Teach her a sport ,baseball,soccer,etc...

  7. Try buildabearville.com - free to set up an account & no charges thereafter.  You set up your own character & you can even get an online pet (you need a special code - again you can pick these up free from the local BABW)

There are simple online games & safe chat - you play games to 'earn' bear bills which you can then spend on funriture etc for your own virtual house- it is colourful & my 5 yr old son loves it!!

  8. Have her friends over.  Visit friends.  Have craft days where she  can make things with paper glue and paint.  Paper mache crafts are good because they can span a few days.  how about have an 'insect' week.  Look for them in the garden and the street and the park.  Take photos of them. Paint pictures of them, make paper mache spiders, tissue paper butterflies, etc.  Go to the library look for books with insects in - stories as well as factual books.  Find out what they eat, where they live, how long they live etc.  Make a scrap book or wall chart of everything you have done.  Once the insect theme is exhausted choose another one.  Maybe animals (go to the farm and/or zoo), do the same as above.

How about a 'where do things come from' theme.  Wool from sheep, eggs from chickens, flour from wheat, milk from cows etc.  Get books. Go to the shops and buy the produce, etc. your daughter can do the buying, you just supervise.  Make something with the ingredients together.

It sounds fun to me and I wish I had a five year old again so that I could do it all.

  9. Dollar store crafts are always a good idea even the toys though not good or great will keep a kid entertained for a low price, a cheap movie theater we have one that is 50 cents on tuesday

  10. prehaps picnic? playing in the garden with her dolls with her? (i used to love it when my mum done that).

could have strolls around naturally pretty places? although that could bore her. How about getting a few friends round to play in the garden?

meeting up with cousins and having family BBQ or games of rounders? cricket? football?

fill up the paddling pool whilst the suns still out :]

just a few ideas to think about ^^

    good luck x

  11. If its good weather you could invite some of her friends over and have a water fight, play games like bobbing apples, hide and seek, etc.

Or you could do some cooking together, make cakes or cookies and let her decorate them with icing etc, or look on the internet for healthy recipes for kids.

    Good luck :) x

  12. go to boomers or chuckee cheese

it is always fun doing that

    i hope that i helped a lot

  13. If you live near a park take her there with a picnic or take her to feed ducks , swimming, or even shopping . When i say shopping i mean window shopping, take a pen and paper and tell your daughter to write down (with your help) everything she wants santa to buy her . worked well with my son , by the time christmas came he forgot all about the list i had to remind him.
