The secretary of my team is retiring to Cadiz in Spain. We want to buy her something nice for around £100 to say goodbye and good luck. Anyone got any ideas? She has sophisticated tastes and enjoys the finer things in life.

  1. What about a star! Then whenever she is sitting relaxing in the evening she can look up and think of all her friends back home, and wonder if any of you are doing the same thing but thinking of her.

  2. What about jewellery, it wouldnt be heavy to transport and it will last and last.

  3. How about a lovely shawl that she can wear in the evenings, very light and wouldn't take up any room..

  4. cadiz huh, thats a surfers place, buy her a surf board wahhooo dude

  5. If she is going to have a garden then perhaps searching companies on the net that deliver or even plant trees in that area. She will be able to tend and look after something that will flourish in the Andalucian sun and remember you all whilst sitting in her garden.

If no garden, then I think a good Andalucian recipe book that she can refer to for dinner parties impressing  her new Spanish friends with her local knowledge.

  6. for 100 quid you could buy lots of stuff................... i was thinking of maybe a shawl or a nice silky scarf she can wear in the cooler evenings.........................the thing is if she is quite sophisticated she might not like an item of jewlery of only 100 pounds if you know what i mean, unless its something like earings or a brooch...............

how about a new mobile phone, so she can keep in contact and send pics to you all?!?>........
