Any improvemnets concerning endangered animals/land clearing since 2006?

Its for an english project, has anything improved or gone wrong or effected endangered species or the clearing of habitats since 2006?

much of the endangered animals land has been destroyed since 2006 more animals then you probably think have become extinct but not just animals plant and insects too. the last of the remaining rain forest could be consumed in approximately 40 years. these rain forest contain many endangered species. the more the human population grows the less land there is for wild animals. because of this endangered animals become extinct and not endangered animals become endangered. the only improvement for the endangered animals are the growing number of places that rescue and rehabilitate wild animals. but the problem with that is there aren't as many places for them to return the animals to once they are healed or older. it is very unlikely that any improvements will be made any time soon by the time there are enof ppl who want to make a difference there wont be anything left to save
