Any inexpensive ways to travel to Paris?

I want to go to Paris sometime in the near future. Any ways to go while on a budget?

Just keep saving your money, even on a budget, Paris is expensive!

I have heard of old Hospitals that rent out rooms, the Youth Hostel is actually outside of town.  There are less expensive hotels, but even they are around $100+(us) a night.  You could only eat really inexpensive food, but then, you would be eliminating one of the best parts of going to Paris - the cuisine!  Grocery store food is less expensive, as is eating at the markets, but you don't want to miss out entirely on the cuisine.

If you are a student, there are many discounts available, and if you are under the age of 25 or 26, there are some benefits to being a youth.

Still, I would start saving more.  Just keep socking away a certain amount every month.  set up a sepreate account, and just don't touch it until you are setting up your plans and reservations.
