Any info on Edward R Cichowlas killed in action 05/11/1945. Any surviving family members.?

we are looking for relatives of Edward Cichowlas. He was married to my aunt who has passed away and we have some war medals of his that his blood relatives may be interested in..

  1. Have you checked the WWII registry?

    You might also try some of the genealogy sites.

    Uncommon last name - check out the white pages on line.



    Oh - and if you look at the Social Security Death Index under thant last name (I don't know if it goes back to deaths in 1945 or if KIA's are listed), you might find others with that last name and lead you to a home town.

    This is not a common name, so your search should be easier.

  3. have u found his obituary? They usually list the name of all the relatives on there.

    I'm sure you've already googled him up and down, right?
