  1. Have'nt heard the name Elgin in years.

    Might search for antique boat & motor sites.

    I know there are clubs that love the oldies as well.


  2. Elgin has been out of business for years.

    Your best bet if you have an outboard is EBAY, pennysaver

    or     -    boat trader also has many ads in back of magazine and also is online.

  3. Elgin was sold by Simpson Sears.

    They were a great engine that was discontinued.
