Any info on the amount of money a typical household spend every year on disposable plastic containers/ baggies

I am looking for statistics on amount of money spent, landfill space used, etc. for disposable water bottles, baggies and plastic containers. I am presenting a "green" presentation for my women's group to promote recycling and would like to be well armed with facts and figures. Thanks!!!
