Any info on what a nebulae (interstellar cloud) consist of?

  1. Various gases and dust, which may or may not be stellar remnants.


  2. nebulas consist of alot of matarials,righ in hydrogen,and some kinds of carbon compounds.the carbon compounds are basically dust or sooht. in the solar nebula,there was alot of heavy elaments in it that they got from supernovas which inriched it with those heave elaments like gold or iron.and in some nebula they found a form of alcohol.

    Opinion: Probably whatever was contained in the star the nebulae came from. So it depends how hot the star was. But then again, on cooling the constituents could completely change. I reckon it could contain pretty much anything and everything, in proportions related to the stability of the element, so lots of iron!
