A lady came to my parents house talking to them about Primerica. The next day my parents transferred their money to Primerica. (they are in their 70's)

This really has me bothered because I do not know anything about this company.

Is there anyone else on here who had transferred money to them? What are the pros and cons? Any down sides to this?

  1. Primerica is part of CitiGroup.  Certainly you have heard of CitiBank, CitiGroup, Travelers Insurance, etc?  It is one of the world's largest bank and financial services companies, not just one of the US's largest bank and financial services companies.  Go look up Primerica, Citibank, CitiGroup on google to reassure yourself that your parents are investing with a very well known and very reputable institution.

  2. My cousin and I were going to work for them but their people behaved impatient and short tempered.  They are always looking for people to work for them.  I went to Glendale California and might pursue with a different trainer if possible.

They are ok but research them on yahoo search.

Types this; Complaints + Primerica transferring money

  3. Have someone look into this for your parents.  Hopefully they put your parents money somewhere stable with easy access in case they need the money.

Maybe contact your states department of insurance see if they can recommend someone that can review the program that the money was transferred too.

  4. Run away! Run away!

Too late, they have your parents' money.
