  1. Morison & Co. Edinburgh were originally located at 78 George Street, Edinburgh and then moved to 36 Charlotte Square, Edinburgh.

Morison & Co. used serial numbers to identify their products with the prefix 'A' for pieces designed and produced in their own workshop and 'B' for those repaired or resold by them.

The business, Morison & Co was sold in 1902  to Turner, Lord & Co. of London who, for some time, continued to use the name.

Turner, Lord & Co. received an order for most of the 1st Class accommodation on the Mauretania.
