I am looking for items to add to the Todmorden Station Partnership website, any relevant facts about the station or its history will be appreciated. This is a group of volunteers and none profit making.

Here at Todmorden we are committed to improving the service we give to the local community and the people of West Yorkshire. It is my belief that we can enhance that service with continued training, improved communications and better interagency co-ordination. We need to encourage co-operation between the key partners who work with us to make West Yorkshire safer.

To date we have carried out home fire safety checks in almost half of all housing in this area and are increasing this proportion daily. The contribution these checks make to public safety and the ultimate saving of life is unprecedented. I would urge those of you who have not yet received one to contact us, here at the station on 01706 813541, the service is totally free.

We have introduced training sessions with our partners in other agencies and meet on a regular basis with the Neighbourhood Policing Teams.

These partners assist us by identifying people at risk and providing referrals, they also help by providing assistance to vulnerable members of society in our area.

We will continue to engage in community activity and attend neighbourhood forums, anti-crime partnership meetings and local projects (fun / information days).
