Any information about the massiaz last name?

In checking this spelling at ancestry.com, there are only 2 hits.  One is for a marriage for someone w/ the MASSIAZ surname and the other is for a Sellerda MASSIAZ.  In the 1920 U.S. Census, she is listed as a 'boarder' living in Texas.  She was born in Mexico as were her parents.

Could this be a spelling which today is more commonly written as MACIAS???? If so, (see below)
