  1. Ancestry.com lists a World War I Draft Registration 1917-1918 entry for Bedford Leon Foster, noting he was born 7 October 1879 and his residence was Muskogee, Muskogee, Oklahoma.

A One World Family Tree entry (also on Ancestry.com) lists Bedford Leon Foster as being born 28 October 1877 in Iuka, Marion, Illinois and dying 13 September 1923 in Muskogee, Muskogee, Oklahoma.  He married his first wife, Lizzie Richie, on 18 January 1901 in Claremore, Rogers, Oklahoma, and his second wide, Della B. g*y, on 16 January 1911.  A son (no name given) is listed as being born in 1906, and a daughter, Lenora, is listed as being born in May 1914 in Coweta, Wagoner, Oklahoma.

Bedford Leon Foster's parents were William Foster (b. 1832 in Ross Township, Butler, Ohio; d. 1888 in Arkansas) and Susan Caroline Blackburn (b. 1831 in Wayne [DuPage & Kane County], Illinois; d. 1920 in Muskogee, Muskogee, Oklahoma).

His paternal grandparents were John W. Foster (b. 1808 in North Carolina; d. 1893 in Indian Territory) and Mary Davis (b. 1805 in Ohio; d. 1855 in Kansas).

His maternal grandparents were Andrew Thomas Blackburn (b. 1811 in Cherokee Indian Lands; d. 1889 in Marion County, Illinois) and Frances Eddings (b. 1811 in Warren County, Tennessee; d. 1887 in Marion County, Illinois).

I'm sorry, but I couldn't find any information on Susan, Paul, Katie, and Wesley.

  2. The Historical Society for Muskogee, OK, and/or Muskogee County may be good places to search for early photos of the railroad and old homes.

If any of your aunts or uncles, or their children, are still alive, they may have some photos.
