I just adopted a holland lop from our local shelter. I'm not sure how old she is, but she weighs 4.5 lbs. I have researched into what foods and care, but I would appreciate any information. This is my first bunny, and I want to be sure I am doing everything right.

  1. this is a pretty good link..

    http://www.gomestic.com/Pets/Usual-Pets-...

watch out for FLY STRIKE - a problem that can kill them if they have dirty bottoms and go outside..

offer carrots every 2 days, hold lots..

thank you a million times for adopting to save a life!

  2. well ,i would try putting it on a diet until it gets to be around 3.5 pounds, because that is the normal weight for a holland lop.

i want to clear up with you that feeding it alfalfa is a sometimes food.

  3. There's great care info here http://www.rabbit.org/
