Any interesting ideas for science investigatory project/ thesis/ term paper/ whatever u call it?

Help! I need an interesting thesis/ investigatory project topics related to chemistry. It has to be experimental (i find narrative so much harder to defend due to lack of evidence) and i can't think of any good ideas! The teacher said it has to be beneficial to the society or the community (blah, blah,blah) as long as the study will be experimental and is able to help and at the same time still be related to chemistry
