Ok, i want to know if there is any jobs for a 16 year old that is 14 weeks pregnant. I need to make some money so i can look after the baby. I need a job thet won't hurt the baby.

Please don't say you should have got pregnant in the first place, because i know i shouldn't have and it was an accident anyway (yes we used a condom but i still ended up pregnant) but i am going to keep the baby.

Thanks for sensible answers in advance!! =)

p.s. no stupid answers please!!

  1. Babysitter.

  2. wats tha baby daddy doin...he should be helping u...after all he had more fun than u did making this baby. anywayz i think u should try baby sitting to get some practice or waitresing

  3. i would say don't do baby sitting or daycare as those can be tiring. but, something at a restaurant, clothing store, or grocery store could work. however, as you get farther along a grocery store or restaurant may be come difficult. also, if possible i would try for a GED at some point. Also, can you get help from your child's father?

  4. i would guess anything thats not heavy lifting like working in a grocery store or a gas station somethin like that

  5. i would say an office job as a receptionist or something where you dont have to move around too much. or being a cashier at a store.

  6. A daycare. It's easy and it'll let you get a little practice for your child.

Grocery store (check out) its really easy so there's no stress on the baby and its okay money.

  7. babysitting.

    You'll need the practice anyway.

  8. wow, smart decision.. no chance, your too young for proper jobs and your knocked up.. If it was a accident, most smart people get rid of it...

  9. Maybe you could try and get a babysitting job. it pays well and its not as stressful as other jobs. plus you can make a lot of money fast as long as its consistent. or maybe try working in a daycare.

  10. Fast foods, waitressing in some restaurants,  bagger at a grocery store or one of the big drug chains.

Maybe work behind the counter at an auto parts store--you will learn a ton about cars and it will come in handy.

Try movie rentals, or being a dishwasher at a good restaurant too.

    Good luck.

  11. A cashier at a grocery store or a hostess.

  12. Anywhere a normal sixteen year old could apply. They can't even ask you if you're pregnant in a job interview, even if you're showing. They can't base hiring you on whether or not you're pregnant.

Try applying at a store, or a restaurant.

  13. I'm 17 years old and pregnant.  I'm not as far though.  I'm looking at jobs in Maternity and baby stores.  This way I can work in a job that is not harmful to the baby, I'm in air conditioning all summer, and I might even get a employee discount which would also help greatly.  Good luck.

  14. =) Wow...Even though  this is a never ending cycle, "Babies born to younger parents", there is not enough help, for them to get on their feet...

I'm glad you are trying to now be a responsible adult about your pregnancy... First off get the best pre-natel care that you can, to make sure you and lil baby are doing fine... then get an OK from Doc to work...

I suggest finding a job where you do lite work, and are not on your feet all day long...

Also something that you will enjoy doing, that will allow you enough time to go to school, and doctor appointments...

It's nice to have a job outside of the home, a chance to meet new people and aquire new skills...

A good Job while being a Pregnant Teen (assuming your still working on your diploma)

    1. Telephone Interviewer... survey or sales

    2. Sales Associate, at a store, like Radio Shack, Sprint, any small boutique, area is small enough you can be in one spot.. like a mall cart...

    3. A bookstore attendant...

In other words jobs that you can relax in, working in a restauraunt you are more likely to do hard labor, I would avoid it..

  15. I would think that any job a non-pregnant 16 year old girl could get. Fast food, clothing store, anything like that.

  16. I would definitely say babysitting, but that might get tiring when you are farther along.  Maybe telemarketing or computer work?

  17. libarian maybe?

  18. The only job that would help you that will accept you is baby sitting. because after a while you can't lift more then 8 lbs by most company policies. And most wont accept you until after birth due to you having a required maternity leave period of 42 days. Plus you don't have any college on your belt to get an office job as a secretary. and you can't go to a daycare without a certification and being CPR qualified. Just don't turn into that girl named Amy who was in the same situation but 15 years old and become a prostitute. It killed her baby due to to many STD's and she also got aids. It was sad. You still have your parents to help you out don't you?
