There's an upcoming online game, and me and a friend would like to be able to chat while we play the game. It would be bad for us to be shooting enemies, and have to stop to type something. (I'm not a speedy typer) We don't want to talk via cell phone because it could rack up a serious phone bill. Also, we both own microphones. so why not use a program?
I looked into Ventrilo, but you need a server. Uh, I don't want to pay money here. So I'm wondering if there's so free program to just be able to talk 1 on 1 with each other.
