Any kindergarden-teacher there.....?

...... which skills/qualification and knowledge should a kindergarten team-leader have? I want to write an application and need that! Thanks for help and answers!!!!

You need to have kindergarten or early childhood teaching experience.  You need to know how to make daily lesson plans.  If you are in USA you should know what NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) regs are and what your state's DOE regs are.  

You should know about No Child Left Behind (again if you are in the states).  You should have a lot of experience and knowledge using redirection and other classroom management techniques.

I'm not a kindergarten teacher but I do have a passion for kids and their learning!! I think you should have compassion and love for the kids. You should also have discipline when a child is acting out. When your disciplining a child make sure you you still have compassion and tell them why what they did was wrong. Lastly put on your application if you have ever worked with kids,What are the comments from what people think of you. The most important is to have an education in teaching. You can't get the job without it. Well I hope this helped!!!

Well I am not a kindergarden teaching but I do know some skills/qualification and knowledge a kindergarten team-leader have. Some skills/qualifications could be: Child development classes, degree in early childhood education,  have experiences working with children of any age/grade, CPR certificate, and know how to make and plan lesson plans.
