Any large agency police/911 dispatchers out there?

Question

I am currently in training for police dispatch in a large city. My position requires me to do 2 hour rotations between the radio and taking 911 calls. And i had the choice to just be a call taker or do dispatch as well. My question is, Is dispatching a lot more difficult than taking the 911 calls and if you do both which do you like better?

Also honestly do you like your job?

I love my profession...my career.

At my agency we do both simultaneously, so it's irrelevant; but if I had the choice I would choose Dispatch as then I wouldn't have to deal with callers.  And usually when an agency separates the two duties, the dispatch position pays more then calltaking.
