  1. It kind of works the other way. You would be doing a craft for a long time and get so good at it, your friends will be begging you to make it for them. What do you do better than anyone else? That's what you can sell. If you don't do any crafts yet, then profits are a few years away yet.

It also has to be something the customer could not make for themselves.  I look through catalogs and when I see something I like, I invent one that's much better and then I offer it on my website.

    .

  2. I suggest you start a blog and monetize from it, by ads, referrals, paid blogging opportunities. Its fun and long term opportunity if you actually enjoy it. Doesn't require any money just some time and patience.

you can find all the info here http://start-blogging-for-money.blogspot...

Alternatively you can also earn through online stores like ebay. http://homejobsblog.blogspot.com/2008/08... This is also free to setup and legitimate.

  3. I think you are asking about the jobs where you work at home assembling crafts and you get paid to do it?  If so, they are rip-offs!  They will find fault with what you do, or they will say you didn't fill your quota. You will never get the money you should.  You are better off to make your own crafts and try to sell them.  Good Luck.

  4. Check out etsy.com.

It is a website where you can sell your home made crafts and art. They do not allow any items that are not home made, unless you are selling craft supplies or something vintage.

The greatest thing about this site is that it's free to join, and it only costs 20 cents to post an item with up to 5 pictures in your "Etsy Store". If you have several of the exact same item, you only have one listing, but they charge 20 cents for each item you are selling. The listing will stay up for 4 months or until it sells. When your item sells, they only take a 3.5% commission for using their website.

I don't know anyone personally who is selling on this website, but a good friend of ours told me about it and I thought it was a great, inexpensive way for crafters to get their stuff out on the market. I know several people who would love to sell their crafts or art, but don't enough about computers to sell on line, or can't afford to have their website and address. When you sign up, you get your own web address that you can put on business cards and/or tell your friends and family about. For example, the website I posted below signed up at etsy with the screen name theilluminatedowl. Her website is now www.theilluminatedowl.etsy.com.

Check out the website and do a search for the type of craft you are interested in. It will give you an idea of what you should be selling your stuff for, or maybe some ideas of crafts that you can make and sell, if you're looking for ideas.
