  1. 1) The opposite (formally known as the additive inverse) of 0 is 0 itself. Two opposite numbers x and –x have the same distance from the centre of the number line though they lie on the different sides of it. Now 0 is a unique number which has no distance from the centre at all. So you can't find a different number –0. It is nothing but 0 itself. You can do a little experiment to understand it. Draw the number line (perfectly according to scale) on a piece of semi-transparent paper and fold the paper so that the folding line intersects your number line at right angle at the point 0. Then 1 will fall on

–1, 2 will fall on –2, and so on. What will happen to 0? See for yourself.

    2) Well, the value of π truncated to 50th decimal place is 3.14159 26535 89793 23846 26433 83279 50288 41971 69399 37510. Now do you want to know how this value has been derived?

  2. 1. you mean the additive inverse of 0?

    then it is 0.

    2. google for it. you might also use the wikipedia.

    stupid question however.
