Sometimes there is platinum and gold in computers. I don't think it is enough to make money though.

gold.....im not kidding,cirtain motherboards have traces of gold in them...and copper is good too........or if your really into metals ,theres platnum in cirtain catalitic coverters in trucks.

It used to be that the boards were only as valuable as the silver in the solder. They were avoided because of the lead. Newer PCs are becoming valuable for everything in them, the electronic compnents, silver, plastic etc.
